Lane Theatre. (Tel. 01637 876945). Popular comedy. Tuesday/Wednesday, May/October. Licensed bar and parking.

Surfing Events. Various surfing events take place at Fistral Beach throughout the year.

Great Cornwall Balloon Festival. See these magnificent men (and women) in their flying machines.A beautiful multi-colour festival of hot-air balloons taking part in competitions for the coveted trophies. In addition various other attractions take place including tethered flying at Newquay. Old Lifeboat Station/Studio.
